It has 5 speed plus reverse semi automatic transmission (automatic clutch). You have the option of 4 or 2 WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSION, YOU CAN SWITCH FROM 2 OR 4 WHEEL DRIVE AT THE FLICK OF A HANDLEBAR SWITCH, making it light and maneuverable in 2 wheel drive and plenty of traction in 4 wheel drive. The plastics are excellent, Few is any scratches or scuffs The frame and metal fittings show NO signs of corrosion. The seat is unmarked, no rips or tears. The quad has been well looked after and barn stored , hardly ever seen mud mostly been driving on tarmc , it has a scrape to the front if you look carfully in the front facing picture . its rev and go with safty cut off wrist strap and speed restriction , Thomas my son never had it ajusted to full throttle as we found he went fast enough !!!! it is a quick bike but heaps of fun suit right up to small adult , it needs battery to key start but we use kick start . lights fully working , this really is a lovely quad and i wish he wouldnt sell as i fear he will regret it but he is adament he wants a twin seater off road buggy now . any questions please ask?????? due to the odd undesrible i will only give out my home address as the quad is kept just 4 miles away and theft of these are happening through this site !!!!. are far superior to the old fashioned LT50. They have brakes that actually work and independant suspension. They are a fair amount bigger than the older version so is an ideal upgrade from an old shape LT50 and more suitable for a child of a bigger frame. This one is a 2005 which we purchased nearly new from Fowlers in Bristol. Obviously after being enjoyed for the past 5 years it has picked up its fair share of scratches, broken plastic bits and a small tear in the seat no bigger than a penny. Also if you are fussy the tyres are over half worn and would benefit in replacing in the coming years. But it has never failed to put a smile on their faces. The engine has a heart of gold and always starts every summer after it has been sat around all winter. It still has its ignition key and adults safety lanyard kill switch so if they are getting away from you or going too fast just pull the cord and the machine will stop. It comes with a new set of genuine Suzuki handle grips as the ones on it are damaged. If I get time I will fit them. If not they will go with it. This is obviously a simple job. I have priced it very competitively to take into account the few inperfections here and there so please don`t expect to arrive and say it wants tyres and expect a big discount.
